1. About this policy and Play Desk
This Privacy Policy applies to the Play Desk mobile application, web CRM, public website, and Facebook Page and Messenger integration (together, "Play Desk"), published by Rayzen Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). It explains what personal information Play Desk collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Play Desk is a customer support messaging app. It connects you ("the customer") with support agents who work for the gaming or entertainment platform you contacted. Through the app you can exchange messages and images with those agents, view short-lived updates ("stories") posted by the platform, and submit payment receipts for an agent to review.
Facebook Page and Messenger data has a separate, support-only purpose.
When a business administrator connects an authorized Facebook Page, Play Desk uses the Page name and ID, Page access token, Page-scoped user details, and customer-initiated Messenger conversation data only to connect that Page, route the conversation to the correct company workspace, and let authorized support staff respond. Meta Platform Data is not used for gambling, deposits, withdrawals, redemption, payment processing, gaming promotions, advertising, or unsolicited marketing.
The most important thing to understand: Play Desk is a support channel, not a private messenger. Everything you send in a conversation — including message text, images and payment receipts — is visible to the support agents and administrators of the platform you are talking to, and to Rayzen Pvt Ltd as the operator of the service. Your messages are not end-to-end encrypted. Please do not send information you would not want those parties to read.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you give us
| Information | When we collect it |
|---|---|
| Name | When you create an account or set up your profile. |
| Email address | When you register or sign in, and to deliver one-time sign-in codes. |
| Phone number | When you register or sign in, and to deliver one-time sign-in codes by SMS. |
| Password | If you choose password sign-in. Stored only as a salted hash — we never store or can read your actual password. |
| Profile photo | If you choose to set one from your device's photo library. |
| Message content | The text of every message you send or receive in the app. |
| Images and media you send | Any photo or file you attach to a conversation. |
| Payment receipts and amounts | When you submit a receipt image, an agent records the transaction type and amount against your account. |
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Account and conversation identifiers — internal IDs linking you to your conversations, the platform that referred you, and the agent assigned to you.
- Presence and activity — whether you are currently online, and the time you were last active ("last seen").
- Message status — delivery and read receipts for messages in your conversations.
- Communication preferences — whether you have opted in or out of SMS notifications, and when you did so.
- One-time codes — temporary verification codes generated when you sign in without a password.
2.3 Information we do not collect
The app does not collect your precise location, your contacts, your calendar, your browsing history outside the app, or any biometric data. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
3. Device permissions
The app asks for permission only when you use a feature that needs it. You can refuse or later revoke any permission in your device settings; the rest of the app will continue to work.
| Permission | Why the app asks for it |
|---|---|
| Photos / media library | So you can choose an image to set as your profile picture or to send in a conversation. We access only the specific images you select — never your whole library. |
| Notifications | So we can alert you when an agent replies to your conversation. |
4. How we use your information
We use the information described above only for the following purposes:
- To provide the service — to create and maintain your account, deliver your messages to the right agent, and show you your conversation history.
- To verify your identity — to send and check one-time sign-in codes by SMS or email, and to keep your account secure.
- To process your requests — to let an agent review a payment receipt you submit and record the corresponding transaction against your account.
- To notify you — to tell you when you have received a reply, if you have opted in to those notifications.
- To keep the service safe — to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, spam and unauthorised access, including limiting repeated sign-in and code requests.
- To meet legal obligations — to retain records where the law requires it, and to respond to lawful requests from authorities.
5. How we share your information
We share your information only in the circumstances set out below.
5.1 With the platform you contact
When you start a conversation, your name, profile photo, and the entire content of that conversation — messages, images, payment receipts and recorded transaction amounts — are made available to the support agents, company administrators and system administrators responsible for that platform. This is the core purpose of the app. Agents may also add internal notes and tags about your conversation, which you cannot see.
5.2 With service providers
We use a small number of third-party providers to operate the service. They may process your data only on our instructions and only for the purpose shown:
| Provider | Data shared | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Telnyx | Your phone number | Sending one-time verification codes and SMS notifications. |
| Resend | Your email address | Sending one-time verification codes and service emails. |
| Our hosting provider | All service data, stored at rest | Running the servers and database behind the app. |
5.3 For legal reasons
We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that it is required by law, regulation or valid legal process, or where it is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of our users, the public, or Rayzen Pvt Ltd.
5.4 In a business transfer
If Rayzen Pvt Ltd is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.
5.5 What we never do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
6. How long we keep your information
| Data | Retention period |
|---|---|
| One-time sign-in codes | Deleted automatically 10 minutes after they are issued. |
| Stories (short-lived platform updates) | Deleted automatically 24 hours after posting. |
| Account details (name, email, phone, photo) | Kept for as long as your account is active. |
| Messages, images and conversation history | Kept for as long as your account is active, so you and the support team retain the record of your conversation. |
| Payment receipts and transaction records | Kept for as long as your account is active, and may be retained afterwards where financial record-keeping obligations apply. |
When you delete your account (see section 9), we delete or irreversibly anonymise the data associated with it, except where we are required to keep certain records to comply with legal, tax, accounting or fraud-prevention obligations.
7. How we protect your information
We use a range of measures designed to protect your information, including:
- Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, never in a form we can read or recover.
- Access to the app's API requires a signed authentication token, which expires and must be renewed.
- Data in transit between the app and our servers is protected using encryption (HTTPS/TLS).
- Access to conversations is restricted by role, so an agent can only reach the platforms they are assigned to.
- Repeated sign-in and verification-code requests are rate-limited to deter automated attacks.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where the law requires it.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights over your personal information:
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction — correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete. You can update your name and profile photo directly in the app.
- Deletion — request that we delete your account and associated data (see section 9).
- Objection and restriction — ask us to stop or limit certain processing of your information.
- Portability — request your information in a portable, machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@messangers.app. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
SMS notifications. If you have opted in to SMS notifications, you can opt out at any time from the app's settings, or by replying STOP to any message we send you. You will still receive one-time codes needed to sign in, as these are required to secure your account.
9. Account and data deletion
You can ask us to delete your Play Desk account and the personal data associated with it at any time, free of charge.
How to request deletion: email support@messangers.app from the email address registered to your account, or send us the phone number registered to your account, with the subject line "Delete my account". We may ask you to verify ownership of the account before we proceed, to make sure we are not acting on someone else's request.
If the request concerns a Messenger conversation and you do not have a Play Desk account, include the Facebook Page name and approximate conversation date, or message that Page from the same Facebook account. After verification, we delete the applicable conversation data and linked Page-scoped identifier stored by Play Desk. Meta Platform Data is not retained as a financial record.
What is deleted: your name, email address, phone number, profile photo, message content, uploaded images, presence history and communication preferences.
What may be retained: records of financial transactions (such as processed payment receipts and their amounts) where we are required to keep them to comply with legal, tax, accounting or fraud-prevention obligations. These are retained only for as long as the relevant obligation requires, and are then deleted.
How long it takes: we will action verified deletion requests within 30 days and confirm to you once it is complete.
10. Age restriction
Play Desk is not intended for children. The app is available only to users aged 18 or over, and you must confirm that you meet this requirement to use it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a person under 18, we will delete that information and close the account. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@messangers.app.
11. International data transfers
Your information may be stored and processed in a country other than the one you live in, including by the service providers listed in section 5.2. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected by appropriate safeguards consistent with this policy and applicable law.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to the app or to legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will give you notice in the app or by email before they take effect. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
